Maintenance Department

Duties

Duties performed:

• Administer custodial and maintenance section of central supply.
• Administer labor training reimbursement programs.
• Administer the Michigan Hazard Communications program.
• Clean, inspect, maintain and repair county buildings.
• Inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems.
• Inspect, maintain and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
• Inspect, maintain and repair parking lots, outside lighting systems, steps and grounds.
• Work with City, County, Township and State Inspectors to assure county buildings meet applicable codes and regulations.

Public Services

Services performed for the public:

• Provide a clean, safe and attractive building and grounds.
• Provide Right-to-Know Law information for equipment and chemicals in the Courthouse.
